Membership

Membership of the CPA is available to individual makers and to anyone interested in studio ceramics. There are three categories of membership, Fellowship, Professional member and Associate.

CPA is the only national body in the UK representing studio potters and ceramic artists. A Person applying for Professional Membership or Fellowship must be a maker working in Great Britain or be a British Citizen residing in Continental Europe. Fellows and Professional Members are appointed by selection by the CPA Council and all have full voting rights within the Association. They may be invited to show their work in the CPA gallery Contemporary Ceramics and may also be invited to take part and show their work in special exhibitions and events organised by the Association. Fellows include many potters of national and international standing.
