Petra Reynolds Fellow
photo Petra Reynolds graduated from Cardiff in 1995 and has since lived and worked at Wobage Farm Craft Workshops, Herefordshire. Using paper templates, clay slabs are deftly cut, bent up and joined to form a wide range of domestic pots, including serving dishes, drinking beakers, jugs, vases and teapots. Surface imagery is built up using a combination of brush work, blocks of paper resist and printed line. Pots are raw glazed and once-fired to 1300ËšC with soda in wood fired kilns.
