Born 1943. Worked in North Wales since 1963 making mainly thrown, pressed or slabbed woodfired reduction stoneware, often on a large scale. Uses glazed surfaces with wax motifs in combination with unglazed ashed areas. Fellow and past Vice Chairman of the CPA and Member of the Crafts Council Selected Index. Exhibited and worked abroad, especially Japan. Work in Private and Public collections at home and abroad including V&A. Organiser of ClayArt Wales now in its fifth year.
