CPA News
CPA News is a bimonthly news magazine, first produced by the Association in 1957, about the world of studio ceramics in the UK. It continues today with the key aim of keeping members informed about the activities of the Association and its members. There is a regular letter from the Chair providing members with an overview of the work of Council and looking forward to highlight future opportunities and events for readers. There are also articles about members and their work and about special ceramic collections and events - something to interest everyone. CPA News is produced by its readers, and members are encouraged to contribute items and images on any ceramics topic that might interest readers:
- Reviews of events, making demonstrations, talks.
- Reports on major events such as, Ceramic Art London, Oxford, Rufford, Hatfield, the Potfests.
- Articles about collections and collecting.
- Articles about techniques which may interest other makers.
- The Please Note! section is a good way of members alerting readers to events, exhibitions, tours, new books and open-days, for example.
- News items about makers moving, makers retiring.
